Did you know: Refined sugar causes a sharp increase in the glucose levels in your blood, which then causes body to work hard to reduce it. 

How: Refined Sugar increases ‘bad’ cholesterol LDL and decreases ‘good’ HDL

The refined sugar can be found in:

• Candies
• Cakes
• Ice cream
• Cookies

• Doughnuts
• Soda pop
• Coke

The refined sugar (over 2/3) is also added to manufactured food products:

• Ketchup
• Breads
• Soups
• Cereals
• Meats
• Hot dogs
• Salad dressings
• Spaghetti sauce
• Crackers
• Mayonnaise
• Peanut butter
• Pickles
• Frozen pizza
• Canned fruits and vegetables
• Tomato juice etc.
