Tummy Flat Tips

Before you start thinking about additional tricks to help you with having your tummy flat, think about chewing your foods well as this is your tip No. 1. Chew food until it is like applesauce in your mouth. Since digestion begins in the mouth, and without proper chewing, food cannot be well-digested. Better-digested food means less gas and bloating.
  1. Warm water with lemon, apple cider vinegar and cayenne pepper: this is an old recipe but works wonders if you do it on a regular basis i.e. every morning before your breakfast. This is a mini cleanse first thing in the morning which stimulates your digestion.
  2. Dry apricots soaked in water over 1-2 nights: have 1-3 apricots every morning before your breakfast. It will stimulate your bowel movements, provides protein which in turn boosts metabolism and balances blood sugar
  3. Extra Virgin Olive Oil: Have 1-2 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil before bedtime. This will help your to stimulate the liver,
  4. Flat Tummy Water: Cucumber, mint, ginger root of juice and lemon. Drink it throughout the day, every day.
Preparation: Cut cucumber into round pieces and pour some water. Cut or juice ginger and add it together with leaves of mint into the cucumber water. Squeeze lemon into the water. Leave it over night and have it during the day in the morning.
  1. Blueberries smoothie based on Almond milk: Sweet enough to satisfy your sweet tooth but at the same time is great for balancing your blood sugar. The lower you keep your blood sugar, the lower you keep your insulin, and insulin makes you store fat around your middle.
