Hot tips for your winter juice cleanse

Medical studies have shown that it is easier to change habits and inject new life into our usual routines at the beginning of winter and the New Year. This is also a perfect time to give your body a short break from digesting food: 40% of your body’s energy goes into digestion. Instead, we can divert some of that energy into eliminating toxins and healing the body.

Juice Cleanse is arguably one of the most effective ways of detoxifying our bodies of the various pollutants of daily life, such as environmental toxins, residue from household or cosmetic products, pesticides in food, etc. Just one example is that of prepared and ready to eat salads from supermarket that have been tested and found to have higher levels of chlorine than those of swimming pools (to maintain freshness!).
Here are some cleanse tips that you can incorporate into your winter cleanse:
·    Make a hot Ginger drink: cut small pieces of ginger, put them in a cup and pour hot water on top. This has a warming effect on the body and is an effective way of cleansing it and improving circulation.
·      Have Purifyne Potassium Broth whilst on your cleanse
·      Drink plenty of herbal teas and/or hot water with lemon and Manuka honey (or raw honey if you can find it): these will keep warm, hydrated, cleanse your system and help to prevent colds
·      Have some Tumeric Tonic: the tonic may taste cool but Tumeric spice has a “warm you up” quality
·      Try to visit saunas, steam rooms and warm Jacuzzis. These will increase your body temperature, improve circulation and expel toxins from the body.
·      Wrap up warmly: keep your hands, feet and head well covered and protected from the elements

  1. Definitely juice cleanses have pretty good impact on health. I want to share a point that after completing the juice cleanse people should return back on solid food gradually so that you can be able to get the best possible health benefits from your juice cleanse.
